Software for creating duty rosters
Description
With grispa-dienstplaner you create, edit, view and print duty rosters.
Basically working periods are arranged on a time bar and employees are assgined to them automatically and manually.
Among other things you can configure: working periods, departments, bonus periods, overtime, vacation,
absence, rest periods, holidays, roles and role dependencies, rules for employee to shift assignement etc.
Terms like 'department' can be changed to fit your line of business.
It is freeware and running on several platforms because it is a Java™ program.
A Java™ API is available to implement your own rules for assigning employees to shifts,
according to your employment law or enterprise regulations
.
Features
Common configuration:
- Working periods (shifts) can be defined with start time, duration and pause duration for the whole enterprise. Shifts occur one time or periodically, or at specific day types (e.g. Christmas). Shifts can also be configred to not run at specific day types ( e.g. no early morning duty at holidays).
- Shifts are composed with departments, where the amount of necessary employees and roles can be defined (e.g. 'skilled employee').
- Roles can depend on other roles (e.g. trainee from trainer).
Configurable parameters for employees:
- Working hours per week,
- Current overtime hours,
- Overtime hours to increase or reduce,
- Vacation periods,
- Time periods of one time or regular absence (e.g. because of club membership), or absence at specific day types,
- Shifts at which employees have to work always or never,
- Roles to define dependencies between employees or to ensure availability of employees with specific functions while shifts,
- Departments,
- Working time an free time periods.
- Shift sequences can be configured and employees can be assigned to them directly or by employee groups.
Also configurable:
- Maximum working time between rest periods,
- Duration of rest periods,
- Bonus periods, for example to calculate night shift premium,
- Holidays,
- Language of program english or german,
- Terms like 'shift', 'department' or 'employee' can be replaced by other terms like 'duty', 'office', und 'staff member', according to your line of business.
Creating and editing duty rosters:
- Duty rosters can be created for a specific time period for one or more departments.
- Shifts can be assigned automatically and manually, and shifts can be deleted manually.
- Special one time shifts can be defined and added.
- Amount of necessary employees needed in a shift can be increased or decreased.
- Employees can be assigned automatically and manually to shifts and can be deleted manually.
- Employees can be exchanged between shifts.
- Rules which avoid an assignement of employees to shifts can be disabled. Shifts with assignement rule violations are marked.
- Employees overtime hours can be stored to be used as base for the next duty roster period.
Informations:
- For each duty roster data is available like time, duration, number of assigned and not assigned employees and roles etc.
- A duty roster can be viewed for all departments, a specific department or a specific employee.
- Several view settings can be configured and stored.
- A duty roster can be exported as image and can be printed.
- A report can be viewed which shows detailed information abouit working time, overtime and working time while bonus periods for each employee. It can be exported as image and it can be printed.
- Duty rosters can be stored and reopened.
Platform independency:
grispa-dienstplaner is implemented as Java™ program and needs a Java™ runtime environment (JRE).
So it is running on several operating systems.
